Okay, so before reviewing this facemask, what does LEMON and OLIVE OIL do to our skin?
Lemon brightens and exfoliates your skin and olive oil neutralizes free radicals, is an anti-oxidant, has Vitamin E, an anti-bacterial and is a great treatment for dry skin. Since I really wanted to remove my acne scars and prevent my skin in drying too much, I tried this.
It didn't really work out for me. The next day, there was a huge pimple on my left cheek plus another pimple on my forehead (kind of make sense since I DID place a teaspon of oil so, that is really a killer to oily skin types but the website did tell that this facemask can be used in both types of skin). Well, that will be my first and last use of olive oil when I am trying some homemade face masks. :( Maybe, I can add olive oil but just a pinch of it will do.
The problem in my skin is that it is VERY sensitive... oily-sensitive skin. It is very prone to pimples and it is frustrating. I have been dealing with it in years and I haven't found the perfect product for my face, unfortunately. When I sweat, minutes later, a new pimple will come out (one of the reasons why I don't really do workouts. Only swimming). For now, I am still sticking with my Red Wine + Yogurt + Nutmeg homemade facemask. :)
