1. PanOxyl
I have started using this product since last November 2012. A saleslady recommended it to me because she too used to have problems with her skin (lucky enough, I found someone who has the same problem as I have - super oily and sensitive skin). She also told me to use Garnier Light Complete for the scars. After using these two products for months, my skin finally cleared up. Just a warning, some may experience dryness after using this. So, ask your doctor how many times a day and a week you will be using this for better results. For my experience, my skin never felt dry using this (that's how oily my skin is I guess).
2. Dead Sea Salt Soap (Jericho)
Then, last January, I passed by this salesman who was promoting their products by demo. I didn't really want to buy it because I fear that if I use a new product, my skin would react again (and besides, it's Jericho. It's too expensive for me) but, this guy just can't let me go until I buy something so, I gave it a try.
So far, my skin didn't react negatively to it. In fact, I think this is the soap I am looking for. Unlike PanOxyl, this soap may dry up your skin completely and makes you feel like your skin is all squeaky clean which I kind of like. I only use it at night though because I still want a bit of good oil in the morning for my skin.
3. And last but not the least, Dark Angel (Lush)
I found this store, Lush, last week while I at the mall and I was very curious about those items I saw on their window. So, I went inside. I was surprised to see cosmetics, face wash, and all about beauty stuff that is actually made from scratch (raw).
Anyway, I saw the "cleanser" section for the face. Since I needed an exfoliator, I looked for some. I did saw one and this is what I am using today:
This product is named "Dark Angel". It contains charcoal, black sugar for exfoliation and rhassoul mud and avocado oil to moisturize the skin. For more information, please check their website: http://www.lush.com
All I can say is I would give this product a thumbs up! Every time I use it, my face would glow and brighten up. Though, when you use it, you may REALLY feel the scrubbing but the effect is worth it. A reminder though, use this cleanser once a day before bedtime (better if you use it while taking a bath because this can get pretty messy) and only apply it 2x a week. We don't want to keep on scrubbing our skin, don't we? :)
Results:
From this picture taken last November 2012 (sorry for the filter. I didn't remove my scars and pimples though, as you can see from the picture - spots everywhere!)
To this recent picture.
Well, that is all the products I am using up to now. :) I hope that you guys also found the facial products that matches your skin. I tried several and these were the ones that finally worked on me. It's a trial and error thing. All I can say is that not all expensive products will work. Try those facial cleansers that you can buy in the drug store first. If nothing works, then step up to the pricey ones or you could just consult your dermatologist. You just have to try one by one and be consistent! Use the products for about one month and if you noticed any good results, then continue using it. :)
