Beach in the Pacific Ocean? My friends invited me to go to Baler (a beach in the Philippines) to go surfing and trekking. So, I asked my mom's permission. Though she agreed, she warned me that the beach there was already a part of the Pacific Ocean which means, the waves are pretty huge. Fear got over me and I decided that if ever we are going there, I would just stay along the shorelines.
One of my greatest FEARS is the ocean and the sea. But, don't get me wrong. I love the beach and I go snorkeling only if someone would come and go snorkel with me. Scuba Diving? I would never try it.
I did not have any traumatic experience but when I watched the trailer of JAW in AXN when I was a kid, it got into me. Also, when the brother of a teacher of mine in grade school drowned while he was swimming in the beach due to a sudden high tide (I think) that is when my fear of the ocean or the sea sinks in (by the way, they said he was a swimmer).
I also hate riding cruises, boats or any of those water transportation because, well, they do go by waters. But, I kind of envy those who aren't. Those who just travel around the tropics and just snorkel here and there, go under the sea without fearing about the sharks, manta rays and jelly fish. *sighs*
Getting a Camera at last! I have been looking for some good interchangeable lens cameras and I found two possible cameras that I will save my money for (in the future) and that is either SONY NEX-5R or SAMSUNG NX-300.
I love Sony. I really love it. My cellphone started with Sony and till today, it is still Sony. And as I have said in my previous post, when I love a certain brand, I am LOYAL to it. But, Samsung NX-300 has the DESIGN that I love for cameras.
For the quality of the pictures, I am sure that Sony is excellent with it as evidenced with my Xperia phone but hey, cameras in cellphones and the real thing is different... right? So, I still can't tell. Samsung, I am not quite sure if it's better or not.
When it comes to the service, I never had problems with Sony. For Samsung, my two sisters used to have Samsung phones and they both didn't like their service AT ALL. Thus, leading me to kind of doubt to buy the camera. But, the DESIGN! :(
By the way, I am not good when it comes to looking for good cameras (differentiating the specs and all that). I only look for their advertisement videos and see which has the best qualities (and of course, which brand is the best) and of course, from personal experience. So, it would be nice if you guys know any reviews from both of these products or may recommend another good interchangeable lens camera. Thanks in advance. :)
